The Stock Show

This is Kaylie's new look! She is always sticking her tongue out! Such a cutie! She is so alert now and aware of her surroundings - getting to be more and more fun everyday! And boy can this girl talk!!

Today we all got ready, loaded up and headed to the Stock Show! It is the last weekend, so there weren't going to be as many animals, but Jaycie would never know the difference. Christopher, Chris, and Weston were going to go too, but Weston wasn't feeling too well - and he doesn't need to get any sicker before their "big week" next week. We missed you guys today!
Here is Kaylie all bundled up for the cool morning weather - and her little piggie hat for the Stock Show fo course! I got a picture of her before leaving because I knew she would probably (and hopefully) sleep through most of our trip!

The smiley talkative girl is ready to roll!!

First stop was the Children's Barnyard with all the baby animals. Jaycie was interested, but her main question "Where horse?" So we looked at all the babies first.
Then we saw the Mama and baby pigs, she looked but then said "No like pig, like horse". So we continued on to look for the horses! On the ENTIRE trek to the horse barns, Jaycie kept saying "where horse". We would say "look at the cow Jaycie" Her reply was "where horse". So before we could look at anything else we had to get this little girl to the horses!
After finally finding the horses in the horse barn, and looking and petting several, we went and watched the herding dogs for a little while. Jaycie liked the chairs, but she was paying attention because as we were leaving after a dog had herded the sheep, Jaycie told Daddy "she did it Da" meaning the dog did it!
Then it was off to find the petting zoo. "Where zoo Ma" I had to explain it wasn't the real zoo, it was petting zoo with barnyard animals! We weren't planning on making our way to the ride area, but the petting zoo was located on the other side, so we had to walk right through the rides. Jaycie pointed out the ferris wheel and a little train ride, but we made it through and pointed her in the direction of the pony rides!!!! There was no hesitation from her when we asked her if she wanted to ride the horse! She had on her boots and she was READY!! She wasn't real excited about waiting her turn (which she is usually pretty good) she tried to run right through the gate when they opened it!!
Now she says "Now I big Mom, I ride horse!"
This was definitely her favorite of the day!

Then Daddy took her through the petting zoo, where she fed the goats and petted them. But most of the goats weren't very hungry - they had been being fed all morning already!
After this Kaylie had woken up and it was time to head to the car to feed the baby! I caught a couple cute pics of Jaycie in the grass before the car. Then Jaycie had a "picnic" in the car while I fed Kaylie and Daddy loaded up everything!

This is Kaylie after eating. "Did I miss anything? Where are we anyways?" then it was time to go home so Daddy could get to work! It was a fun morning!
