Easter Weekend - Part II

Well Easter Sunday started off pretty good. Both girls slept good for being away from home and their beds!! So we were up and getting ready for church. The cold front had come through, but the girls still sore their Easter dresses. We compromised a little with Kaylie's and put a long sleeve shirt under hers. It still looked ok - just not quite as "springy". We tried to get a few pics of the girls while both were still awake before leaving for church. The girls did good at church. Jaycie went to children's church (you only have to be 2!!) and bible class with no problem with Kase. We also ran into Chris, Weston, & Taylor (was sure wishing I had my camera!!!!) , but Weston didn't want to go with Jaycie to class.

After church back to Mimi and Pa's to load up our stuff and head over to Holly and Art's for lunch. After lunch Holly had eggs ready for the kids to hunt in the backyard. She had a great idea and each kid picked a color of egg to hunt ( they all got their favorite color, too) and they were suppose to only find their color - and they did!! It worked great! They all basically got the same number of eggs and they really had to hunt to find their eggs! Kaylie had slept through lunch and egg hunting and finally woke up. She got her basket of eggs - the kids "picked" yellow for her- and checked out her goodies, some socks and baby Gerber snacks! After the kids played and jumped on the trampoline (still going on no nap) we decided to try and get a picture of the kids in their Christmas outfits! Didn't go so well - Jaycie pretty much had a total meltdown :( So she is crying in all the pictures, but they all look cute together!

Then we changed the girls back into their Easter dresses - per Jaycie's request- and headed home! Jaycie was out cold 5 minutes into our drive home and slept for about an hour!! We were all ready to get home and out of the car - especially Jaycie when she woke up from her nap!!
