The end of the year program was really cute this year - although it was over a month ago!! So behind i am!!!! But anyways here's a few pics with Jaycie and her new "forced smile" look!! I'll be happy when that is gone!! Oh ya, and when she goes back to actually looking at the camera - that will be good too!! Ha, ha!!
This years theme was the Commotion in the Ocean!! It was cute as always!! The best thing was we got the book with the words of the songs that Jaycie has been singing at home!!! We can now sing with her!!I wasn't' sure how Jaycie would do on stage with all those people there, but she was just a singing and signing away!! Her biggest concern was trying to see me! And when she FINALLY did, she finally got a smile on her face and she could just sing!!
Jaycie learned sooooo much this year at school!! Not only did she learn all the ABCs, how to write them, the sound each of them makes, how to write her name, but just all the little facts she came home with, like this little scenario. Me : "Jaycie what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Jaycie: " I want to be a butterfly!"
Me: "oh ya!!"
Jaycie: "Ya, but first I have to be a caterpillar so i can turn into a butterfly!"
She also made lots of friends this year in class. She talked about almost all of the kids in her class this year, vs last year when she only talked of a couple. And she is still talking about them!!
Apparently on the last day of school, they must have done something for all of the summer babies who didn't get to celebrate a bday at school and sang them happy birthday, etc. Because ever since then she has talked about her bday party NONSTOP!!! She talks about wanting to invite all her friends from school!! And when is it???? So only 2 more months of that!!! Then we will have a 4 year old!! Amazing!! Who will be in preschool next year!!!!! Wow!! just where does the time go?!?!?!?
