Augst Update

We have been so busy and I just don't take the time to post. So this is kind of a catch up post with lots of pictures! So here it goes!!!

Jaycie and Daddy had a BDay party for Mommy on Saturday morning. They decorated with decorations Jaycie had picked out. She originally started with a horse theme, but then threw in the Little Mermaid balloons and the Lou ows (I have no idea how to spell that - the Hawaiian style necklaces!) They made me pancakes and sausage and put the candles in my pancakes to sing Happy BDay to me ( a Jaycie favorite)
Then the activity for the party was stickers, but Daddy didn't realize they were window stickers! Jaycie loved the Cinderella and Little Mermaid ones! She still has them and plays with them daily. She had to put her sunglasses on to continue to play in the window because it was bright outside!
The last pic is when she finally decided to pose with Daddy to show off the party hats she had picked out!

Jaycie in the backyard playing in the water sprinkler! She had a blast - once she got warmed up!! Mommy had to play at first to show her how much fun it was!!

My best friend had a little couples shower for us and Little Miss Kaylie. Brad "suffered" through the shower and it went good and we got lots of good stuff. We got lots of diapers this time vs no diapers at Jaycie's baby shower. It's always good to see everyone!

This is Jaycie and her buddy Weston. They have become our "play group" during the week. We get together once a week, either at our house or theirs (alternating) and let the kids play and have adult conversation!! The kids really do like each other which is great!! In fact, Weston is ALWAYS trying to give Jaycie hugs which she is getting used to! They were so cute on Weston's new slide together. Jaycie insisted on "help" from Weston even though she had been doing it all by herself earlier! He was the true gentleman and "helped" her!!

Jaycie apparently wanted to play at the computer one day when the chair wasn't there, so she brought in one of her chairs to reach!!

Oh ya!! And I finally started pulling her hair back - there is actually enough to pull back now and help keep it out of her face!!

Other than that we are just trying to even get use to the idea that our next little one will be here in about 6 weeks!! How did that happen so fast!! Where does the time go? Oh ya, it all goes to Jaycie!!!
