In Jaycie's world, everything is a Mommy or a Baby (and sometimes a Daddy). In all the books, if there is one animal, it is the Momma, if there are two animals it is the Momma and the Baby. Even when we see people out and about with their kids, she has to point out who is the Momma and who is the Baby.
Well our labeling of Mommas and Babies has now even gone to inanimate objects. Yesterday at the mall, we stopped to see the water ( several times!) and the water spouts were given Momma and Baby labels, too! Guess in her world Mommas and Babies are very important!

You asked if Gracie' was wearing flip flops... well sort of. They are flip flops with backs. And she does keep them on, but she LOVES shoes. It was actually her first word (other than mom and dad)! I got them old navy.
